Finally got around to taking this test (instead of doing some study). Not sure what to make of the results, but it will be definitely interesting to see how this changes as the years progress. What I know about medicine’s various career paths could probably fill a thimble (on a good day).
I’m sure Ms. Lean Times will be pleased that surgical careers are towards the bottom of the list
Anyhow the burning question is…
What is preventative medicine?

General practice is probably the closest thing we’ve got, I think, unless you go broader and look at policy. I must do that test again and see where I score these days.
Ms. Lean Times agrees that it would probably be more policy oriented? Appeals to me on some level since making macro-level decisions and managing things was where engineering was heading (after a good many years of technical work). We’ll see though…
